Hi, I’m Kaivon (pronounced kay-von).
I know starting therapy can feel intimidating. In our work together, you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything figured out before you begin. My hope is that being in session with me will be a place where you can feel safe and empowered.
I use Restoration Therapy to help people understand the patterns that show up in their relationships and daily life. Often, we repeat ways of thinking, feeling, or reacting that made sense in the past but no longer serve us. In our sessions, we slow down to notice these patterns, explore where they come from, and practice new ways of responding that feel more honest, grounded, and aligned with who you want to be. The work is practical and relational, you don’t just talk about change, you experience it in the moment, with guidance and support.
Before beginning graduate school, I worked in community mental health and crisis settings, supporting people through intense emotions, instability, and moments of real uncertainty. I helped clients build practical skills, navigate overwhelming situations, and begin to make sense of what they were going through. Those experiences shaped how I show up now: steady, attentive, and focused on helping you feel understood while we work toward meaningful, manageable change.
I work with clients from all walks of life and approach each person with humility, curiosity, and care. As a graduate student intern at George Fox University, I bring my full presence to this work and see therapy as a collaborative process. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported as you come to understand yourself more clearly and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and watching science fiction shows. I feel most at peace among the Redwood and Myrtlewood Grove at Alfred A. Loeb State Park in Southern Oregon. I also go to the coast around Lincoln City. These are places I go to slow down, reset, and remember what’s true about me.
