Overview

ALL RESTORATION THERAPY TRAINING IS APPROVED BY THE CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY (CAMFT) FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT.

Restoration Therapy (RT) is a new approach in Marriage and Family Therapy and combines the best of Attachment Theory, Emotional Regulation and Mindfulness to empower therapists to work with clients effectively. RT is a real advantage because it helps the therapist to work efficiently and quickly with clients helping them to understand the patterns they have learned while forming senses of identities and safety. But most importantly, RT organizes the client to be able to change these patterns utilizing the techniques of emotional regulation and mindfulness that result in long lasting behavioral change.

In Level I Training, participants learn the basic foundations of the theory as well as the most essential techniques. Learning the essentials is clear and most techniques are demonstrated by Terry Hargrave or other expert RT Trainers. Enrollment in Level I trainings is limited to only 20 participants so each person can feel at ease in exploring questions and interactions in a cozy group.

Terry Hargrave, Ph.D. (Provider #10007962) is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFT’s, LCSW’s, LPCC’s, and LEP’s. Terry Hargrave maintains responsibility for the program and all its content. This course meets qualifications for 14 hours of continuing education for LMFT’s, LCSW’s, LPCC’s, and LEP’s as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.**Licensees from other states outside California are encouraged to verify the training will count toward continuing education with their state licensing boards.
