Laine Briggs is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Center Point. She obtained her MS degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014. Laine moved to Georgia recently from Washington State where she worked as a school-based therapist working with K-12 students and their families. Prior to this, she worked at a community mental health agency in California and worked primarily with Spanish-speaking clients with histories of trauma and clients experiencing domestic violence, depression, and anxiety. Laine also worked with couples in marital therapy. Her clinical focus is on relationships and how they impact our way of thinking about ourselves and how we interact with others. Her main modality is Restoration Therapy which focuses on helping clients learn how their early experiences in the family impacts current behavior, identifying unhelpful relationship patterns, and providing the tools to break free from those patterns. Laine’s main goal as your therapist is to earn your trust by providing a safe, non-judgmental, and strengths-focused place for you to share your life.
