Lance Ahl LMFT, MDiv, DMFT
Dr. Lance Ahl is a licensed marriage and family therapist based in Carlsbad, California and the founder of the Restoration Therapy Center of San Diego. He leads a team of therapists, while personally focusing his work on trauma, couples therapy, and intensive therapy for clients seeking deeper and more accelerated change.
Beginning his career as an ordained Christian pastor, Lance brings an experiential and relational approach that helps clients identify the emotional patterns and relationship cycles that keep them stuck. His work especially focuses on helping individuals and couples move through anxiety, conflict, and disconnection by addressing the deeper wounds driving those patterns and finding a way out.
Lance is a Level I and Level II Restoration Therapy Trainer, as well as a Level II Therapist and Consultant. He also leads the Turning from Anxiety intensive model and co hosts the RT Dialogue podcast, where he engages conversations on therapy, emotional health, healthy faith integration, and the practice of Restoration Therapy with other clinicians.
Outside of his work, Lance enjoys time with his wife, Jennifer, surfing the California coast, and exploring the mountains.
